The 19th Red Cross International Humanitarian Law (IHL) Moot 2021

In light of the recent pandemic of the COVID-19, the Hong Kong Red Cross (HKRC) and the ICRC Beijing Delegation (ICRC) decide to conduct the 2021 edition of IHL Moot Court Competition for Asia-Pacific region (IHL Moot) through submission of memorials and with virtual oral hearings.
(28 Dec 2020) Notes: Some countries encounter with difficulties in application due to the COVID situation. After the discussion of ICRC and HKRC and approved by Organizing Committee, the Registration will be closed on 15 Jan 2021. The keydates are also revised as in 'Participants Information'.

Objectives
- Raise awareness of international humanitarian issues among law students
- Enhance knowledge and application of international humanitarian law (IHL) rather than black letter law
- Promote the spirit of humanity among law students in the Asia-Pacific region
- Promote understanding on the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement
