Red Décor Photographic Competition

Staff from corporations who have joined the Red Décor Day are entitled and welcomed to join the Red Décor Photographic Competition.

To join the Competition, simply take pictures of yourself or colleagues dressing in red or putting on accessories in red with one of the event stickers upload to Red Décor Day Facebook Fan page on or before 19 August, 2010 (Thursday). You will have a chance to win fabulous prizes as follows:

Call Friends to Vote for Your Entry

Once you submit your entry, you can share it with your friends on Facebook. Call for their vote to be the winner of the “Most Favorite Photo on Facebook”. For details, please visit the Red Décor Day Facebook Fan Page or click here to share your entry with your friends.

Submission Details

• Participants are required to submit the entry via Red Décor Day Facebook Fan page
• All entries must be uploaded to Facebook Fan page on or before 19 August, 2010
• Each participant can only submit ONE (1) entry. Those who submit more than 1 entry will be disqualified.
• There is no limit on number of participates from each corporation.
• Please enter the followings when you submit entry to Facebook:
• Name of Participant (Same as on the HKID)
• The first 5 digits of HKID
• Name of your corporation
• Contact phone number (daytime)
• Email address
• Photo caption of the entry (no more than 15 words either in Chinese or English)
• The entry must be in digital format with a resolution of 500dpi. Submitted format must be in either JPEG or TIFF. The file size cannot exceed 5MB.
• Do not display the date of photo-taking on the entry.

Rules and Regulations

• Each participant can submit only ONE (1) entry.
• Entries that do not meet the requirements and/or do not provide information details stated under “Submission Details” will not be considered.
• Entries should be the original works of the participants without infringing the intellectual property rights of others. In case of plagiarism, the participant will be disqualified from the Competition.
• Upon submission the copyright of entries belongs to Hong Kong Red Cross. Hong Kong Red Cross has the right to publish, print and publicize the winning entries by mentioning the winners’ names as source but shall get no further prior consent from the participants.
• In case of any dispute, decision from Hong Kong Red Cross shall be final

Criteria of Judging

Entries are considered under the criteria of theme cohesiveness, composition, creativeness and photo taking technique by the Competition Advisor and Judging Panel.
