Introduction

Hong Kong Red Cross (HKRC) was established in 1950 and will celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2010. We are grateful for all the supports so far given to HKRC and to the Red Cross Movement. To share how we live out the Red Cross spirit in our daily life, this photo and video clip competition (the Competition) is a very good opportunity for us to demonstrate humanity in action by using visualized means with a view to inspire more people to join the Red Cross Movement. Selected submissions will be uploaded to the HKRC’s official website and be displayed in our different promotion activities throughout the anniversary year.

Your participation and support is active for the promotion of the Red Cross Movement and the development of the HKRC. We look forward to your participation in this Competition. Your submissions will help promote humanitarian works and spirit, by arousing the public’s awareness on the Red Cross Movement and inspire their participation to put humanity in action.
