HKRC Red Cross Elderly Units mobilize elderly people to join the Red Cross Movement and participate in helping the sick and the vulnerable. Through our unform groups' activities, elderly members are encouraged to live a meaningful aged life with active involvement in group activities and voluntary service. The majority of our Elderly Units are attached to elderly service agencies, and some are attached to our Uniform Groups Head Office and open to the public. Interested parties of age 50 or above may apply to join us.
Uniqueness of Activities
Focus on promoting the spirit of humanity and participating in helping the sick and the vulnerable. Activities include two aspects: disease prevention and caring for people in need.
Community services, training activities and friendship exchanges are also organized by our Uniform Groups Head Office or by members themselves.
